Hey friends! Checking in today because I finally get to show you pictures of my quilt, Square-rific! Any of you who have stuck around here with me for any amount of time know how much I love little squares. Lots of them. So when I had a chance to make a quilt for the 2nd volume of Scraps, Inc. of course there were lots of little squares involved! (Remember my first Scraps Inc. Quilt? Still one of my very all time favorites.)
I made Square-rific! from my first two fabric lines, Best. Day. Ever! and Meadowbloom, both by Moda fabrics. It was the first project I made mixing the two lines, and I couldn’t have had more fun with it. In fact, my quilt is probably a little brighter than the rest in the book for that reason! I had just gotten my advance yardage for Meadowbloom when I started making this quilt, and I couldn’t help but use it, even if it was just a bit louder than the proposed color scheme. :) Y’all know how I feel about color.
So. Scraps, Inc. Vol. 2. It’s amazing. The designers who contributed are ridiculously talented, the photos are beautiful, and the patterns are awesome. You’re going to want to get your hands on this one. If you have the first Scraps, Inc. book, you already know this.
Lucky for you, there are two ways to get your hands on a copy:
First, you can comment on this post and tell me which of my patterns you’d love to see a pattern in mini quilt size form for a chance to win a copy (see all my patterns in the shop, here)… (I will choose a winner Monday, the 15th.)
Or, if you just don’t want to leave it to chance, Lucky Spool and Taunton (publisher and distributor) are offering 30% off through the end of this blog hop on all preorders (ships 2/22). Just skip on over to this link, and enter code Scraps30.
For more chances to win, and to see the other quilts in the book, check out these other designers. Tell them I sent you. ;)

I would live to make a mini Miss America!!
I love Square-rific and Solstice best! I love your use of color in all your quilts. I have some of your first lines of fabric!
