Midnight Moon QAL – Bonus Block 3 – Cute Candy Corn

Welcome friends! Today I’m sharing the third bonus block for the Midnight Moon Quilt Along. This block is called Cute Candy Corn—and I’ve got to admit, I made a few of these blocks already and they’re addicting!

I’m not sad about the blocks being so addicting because honestly I can’t get the idea of a bunch of little Candy corn blocks making a king sized quilt for my bed out of my head. Crazy? Perhaps. But I’ve done worse. 😂

You can’t tell me this isn’t adorable. And also ridiculous. Ridiculously adorable?

Be sure to use #cutecandycornblock if you decide to make this—I’d love to see yours!

The fist block I made had a pointy top, and I decided to change it in the final

I hope you’re having so much fun with the Midnight Moon Quilt Along!

  1. A candy corn bedspread?!! I’d go to bed hungry every night. Or I’d have to have a bowl of candy corn nearby. LOL

  2. thanks for the free pattern – so cute….going to try to make treat or trick bags for the grand kiddos.

  3. Quick question the bat and pumpkin bonus blocks trim to 8.5. I made candy corn and could only
manage 8.0 square. I may have to re-do – is this supposed to be 8.0 or 8.5? Thanks (such a cute
    block).
