Inspired by pinwheels blowing on a hot summer day, Dancing in the Wind is the perfect scrappy quilt for cloud watching. Be sure to lay on it out in the open where you can feel the breeze!
The Long and Short of It:
62×85 (Twin)
Perfect for using up scraps or your favorite 2½” strip precut (35+).
Cover fabric: Spirit by Lila Tueller for Moda
With so many beautiful fabrics out there, I love that this pattern can show off so many at one time! Grammyâs Scrap Basket is easier than it looks, and works up in a hurry. A perfect quilt for a sweet new baby, featuring an optional first and middle or last name. Applique templates for both boy and girl shapes are included.
The Long and Short of It:
39×51 (Crib)
Perfect for using up scraps, or your favorite 1½” precuts. (40+)
Fabric is Simple Abundance by Bonnie and Camille for Moda
Perfect for staying warm and cozy on a fall evening, Little Lanterns is an innovative pattern that uses simple blocks to create a beautiful quilt that looks much more complex than it really is. Reminds me of little paper lanterns on the porch at our “Hooray It’s Fall!” party.
No Y seams.
The Long and Short of It:
53×67 (Throw)
A great way to use up stash fabrics, or your favorite 2½” strip precut.
Fabric is Cotton Blossoms by Bonnie and Camille for Moda
A fun and versatile twist on a classic argyle, this quilt uses ribbon for the stripes, instead of piecing. There are so many possibilities: Camouflage fabric with twill tape stripes, satins and velvets with sequin stripes, or some good old fashioned flannels with grosgrain. Any way you mix it, this oneâs a knockout!
The Long and Short of It:
Finished Size: 59×72
Can be made with various yardage, or precut 10″ squares (20).
Fabric is Life’s a Hoot by Tammy Andersen for Adorn It Just Sew
Based on my popular pattern “Grammy’s Scrap Basket,” Scrap Basket {Remix} uses the same simple techniques to make a fun and flexible twin size quilt.
The Long and Short of It:
65×87 (Twin)
Fabric is Hooty Hoot Kangaroo by Doohickey Designs for Riley Blake.

The pictures turned out great! I am so excited! Now I have to decide which pattern to get!
It was really fun trying to figure out new ways to display them…especially working with the weather!
Congratulations! Everything looks fantastic. Thanks for the heads up on the quilts- it is always so fun to see something made from one of my favorite lines. ;-) Best of luck!!
