Today Amy and I are being featured over on the Moda blog, where a lot of people are probably hearing our fun news for the very first time! This little blog post marks our official “introduction” by Moda, and well, I’m just happy to be here! Head on over to read a little introduction, and if you’re here from the Moda blog, welcome! So glad you came by!
Another great thing about today? I get to show you new patterns! I’ve been working like crazy trying to get not only these patterns but my book quilts done before market. It’s been a pretty crazy ride! My kids have now started asking if I can please just make dinner instead of going to a “food place”, and my poor husband basically has 2 full time jobs–his day job, and the upkeep of the house and laundry when he gets home. They’ve been so sweet and supportive of my dreams, and I’m so glad I can finally start showing and telling–and playing with my kids and cleaning my house. (Yes. I just said I’m looking forward to cleaning my house.)
Here they are! Paper patterns are available for preorder now in the shop, they will ship June 1. PDFs coming soon.
Jigsaw: A fast and fun Layer Cake quilt! You could whip this one up in a day or two for pretty much anyone. They’ll love it. Guaranteed.
Dahlia: This baby is a stunner. You’ll want to take a look at these blocks over on Instagram–I leaked a few photos the other day. Basically, I’m in love with this quilt, and you will be too. You’ll want the templates to cut your pieces accurately–and get this–it’s ALL machine pieced. Yep.
Modern Hex: This twin size quilt just might be my favorite ever. I mean really–it’s rainbows, and triangles, and hexagons, and stars–all in one quilt! What’s not to love?
First Date: The perfect Jelly Roll quilt, even if your first date wasn’t so perfect. And of course, you know how I feel about little squares. :)
Finally, Whirlwind. A perfect and GORGEOUS baby quilt. A little bit of paper piecing goes a long way.
I will get lots of pictures of the real quilts just as soon as I take a nap, play with my kids, and eat something besides take out.
I’m heading out to Pittsburgh Wednesday afternoon, and can’t wait for the whirlwind that is always Quilt Market. If you’re going, come say hi! I’ll be in the Moda (eek!) Designer Showcase showing off Best. Day. EVER! and these super fun quilts I’ve designed to go along with it. I’d love to meet you and see some friendly faces!
New patterns are available for preorder in the shop, including templates for two of the patterns. Speaking of the shop, if you haven’t seen, Russian Rubix and Rubix Too templates are there also.
Can’t wait to hear what you think of the new patterns! Tell me! Tell me!
xoxo

I LOVE the fabrics!! I also love the Dahlia. I will have to add the pattern and templates to my Christmas Wish List. So pretty!!
Such beautiful fabric. I love the bright colors. It makes me happy!
I love the color blue – all hues. But so much of what I wear is blue so I am trying to break out some. The fabrics are beautiful and your patterns look fun!

Love the colors of the fabric, as well as the designs of the quilts. My favorite color is also blue. I love navy, azure, and baby blue – regardless of intensity, they all seem so calming. Plus, true blues are complementary to my coloring. I just feel comfortable in them!
Wonderful, what a webpage it is! This website provides helpful facts to us, keep it up.
