good for the soul

I can’t be the only person who does this.

There’s just something about seeing those pretty little fat quarters all stacked up in color order. Good for the soul, and all that.

Another thing that’s good for the soul?

Fandango.

And of course, while we’re talking about fabrics, here’s some I haven’t found a worthy enough project to cut into yet.

I’m a sucker for Hope Valley. It’s getting to be increasingly more expensive to feed my addiction, seeing as it’s out of print.

Another good thing? Prairie Grass Patterns is being featured over at Simply Utah today, and I think you may just be able to find a one day special discount code…but you’ll have to go check it out for yourself. I’ll tell you though, if you’ve been wanting to pick up a few (or all *wink wink*) of my patterns, today is definitely the day to do it.

And now for one bad thing. Broken nice camera. Battery dead on point and shoot. Ya’ll are getting iPhone pix. Sorry friends. It’s not very fun for me either.

I guess I’ll just have to go rearrange some fat quarters.

  1. Just read your post over at the other blog… I didn’t know that story about that quilt being what got you into quilting. How fun! I agree with you about the color coordination thing–it really just makes things look so much more appealing. I found that out when I was the trading post manager. No one bought the boondoggle when I was first there. It was not high on my list of things to do, so I had just left it like they had it the year before. Then I got the idea to switch the colors around so they were grouped by color. All of the sudden, people bought not only the boondoggle, but the more expensive material hanging there as well. I guess it just looked more worth it to them. Kind of cool.

  2. I LOVE color coding. It is easier to tell what color you need more of. However, to me I ALWAYS need more fabric no matter the color. I love that you are being featured. I am so happy for you.

  3. I love all the colors too–I just want the pieces to be BIGGER! haha. Congratulations on being featured my dah-ling. Of course you should be…

    :}

  4. I love things arranged in color order. I do it with my paper and my clothes. :) You have such a fun assortment of fabric. I can’t wait to see what you do with it all!

    Oh, and the feature turned out great. And what a great coupon! :D
