Simply Snuggly Quilt

02072013BI made this quilt this past weekend for a sweet friend’s daughter who got baptized.02072013AIt turned out pretty darn cute if I do say so myself.

02072013DGood thing I already gave it away, because the longer I worked on it, the more I wanted to keep it for myself.

02072013CIt’s made with both flannels and quilting cotton, so the texture is awesome.

02072013EI have access to these same fabrics for kits…let me know if you’re interested and I’ll post them in my shop. Quantity would be pretty darn limited. (Marmalade by Bonnie and Camille for Moda, except the backing, that’s Vintage Modern also by Bonnie and Camille, and the binding is from Ruby, also theirs. Oh, and a Bella solid in aqua.).

02072013FTutorial tomorrow. :)

xoxo

April

PS I still need to show you my scrappy tripalong, the jeans that dyed my binding blue (and they weren’t even in the same load), and the next tutorial for the block of the month. Plus, February is already here, and that means a new block soon!

  1. Beautiful colors–bright is good for babies!
A kit would be appreciated and I’ll be sure to look for the tutorial tomorrow.
    Thanks, April.

  2. That is absolutely beautiful and I love your quilting on it. I may have to try that pattern for some baby quilts that I need to make in the future:) The mom and baby will love it!
