Happy Anniversary Week!

Yay! It’s been one year since I launched Prairie Grass Patterns, and boy has it been a ride! Some of you have been here with me from the beginning, and some of you are brand new friends–and I’m so grateful to all of you. I can’t tell you how much it means to me that you would give a little bit of your time and caring to support me and my dream. Really, truly, it just…there aren’t words to describe it. But thank you. Sincerely.

Enough with my jibber jabber…let’s get on to the party part!

  1. Congratulations on your one year anniversary. These are all great, but I’d love to be a Quilting Queen, and win the Fat Eighth bundle: Ruby by Bonnie and Camille for Moda

  2. Um…do I HAVE to pick just one? I love them all. Alright, it is quilting queen. That is my favorite pattern and the fabric is gorgeous! I have been with you since the beginning of the beginning! ;) I am so very proud of you. Keep up the good work!

  3. Happy Anniversary!!! :D I’m so happy and excited about how far you’ve come in such a short amount of time! :) Good for you!

If I won a prize, it would HAVE to be the Beginner Basics because I don’t know WHAT the heck I’m doing when it comes to fabric! ;)

  4. Happy Anni!! Very excited for you and your thriving company!! Hope it continues to grow in the coming years! My choice of these three awesome prizes would be behind door #2 :) I need to build my stash!!

  5. Beautiful Giveaway!
I’ll choose ‘Quilting Queen’, but love each of them!
    Thanks so for sharing!
    Happy Stitching to all !

  6. Congratulations on making it to a year! Time goes so fast when you’re doing what you love!

I’d be sooo excited to win Beginner Basics! I love the Countdown to Christmas fabric and I’m definitely a beginner quilter!

    Thanks for doing this!

  7. Happy Anniversary! And I wish you many more to come (well, not first anniversaries obviously ;))
I think I’d choose Quilting Queen, but all the prizes are great.
Thank you so much for the giveaway.

  8. Yay, I am glad I came back to the house to pick up more stuff/check internet! Totally worth the wild children loose in a mostly empty house.

Beginner Basics, because I am a beginner, of course.

  9. WOWSER!! Congrats on the first year. I am so excited and can already tell this stuff is very addictive. You are one talented lady. I would LOVE #2. I am on a roll……Jelly Roll that is Yea!!!

  10. What a year! Always excited to see what comes next from you. You are very talented. Best wished to many more years to come. I would LOVE the Stash Builder looks so fun!!

  11. Happy Anniversary! Thanks for celebrating with us!
I’d think I’d choose the Stash builder or Quilting Queen. They’re all greatness.

  12. What beautiful prizes to celebrate your anniversary week! I’ve been quilting for several years so I am way into the fabric collecting. I would love to win the fat quarters by Adornit! Congratulations and best wishes!

  13. You are doing such a great job at this whole thing. I will be happy to be able to say “I knew her when…” And of course, I am already one of your FB folk!

  14. What a perfect day for an anniversary. This means that next year when you’re celebrating your second anniversary, I will be celebrating my first anniversary of being one of your new fans (thanks to LyndiLou!) If I won a prize I would want the Stash Builder because one can never have enough to feed the fabric addiction :)

  15. I’d love the beginner set…because I’m a noob so that would be most appropriate.
Congratulations–and I think I should win a SPECIAL prize–because I’VE been here since YOUR beginning. haha.
I love you and your shop!!
    :}

  16. Mmm. I’d pick that delicious pile of Ruby. :) Congratulations! I’m so glad to have been able to meet and get to know you this year, April! Here’s to many more!!

  17. Though I love the Russian Rubix so I’m tempted to say the Quilting Queen one, I probably be better equipped if I said the beginner one since I’m definitely a beginner! Love the pictures you always have on here. Showcases your skill in quilting as well as everything else you do :)

  18. Oh dang that’s a hard one – I’m always working on my stash, but I’d love #3 too! I commented on FB too so maybe I could have a ticket in each? You’re amazing, it’s so exciting to watch your business grow.

  19. Wow – those are all awesome prizes! I’ll choose Stash Builder as I could use some new fabrics! Thanks for a lovely giveaway! Happy Anniversary! :)

  20. Oh my goodness!!!! Such great giveaways!!!! I would love to win the Beginner basics the most or the Stash builder second (since I’m still so new at this!)! They are all awesome, though!!

Congratulations on your first year!!! You have come so far!!!!

  21. Oh, I love your stuff on here. I am still a beginner quilter… I guess, but I already have most of the basics. So I guess I would like the Stash builder, but really any of the prizes would be nice. I will have to show you a pic of the quilt I am working on when it’s done. All I have left is the hand Quilting (that’s the scary part for me, but I don’t want to tie this quilt). It’s a sweet little baby quilt. Congrats on your first year, and good luck for the years to come.

  22. I’d consider myself fortunate to win any of them! My favorite would be Stash Builder followed by Quilting Queen and then the Beginner pack.

    Happy Anniversary!

  23. How can one choose only one thing for an Anniversary…I would love the Beginners Basics, but the Quilting queen has a Russian Rubix(I am all about Russian Anything) but the stash would be so great.
Happy Anniversary – this is an Anniversary week for me too!

  24. LOVE the fabric squares! I am a quilter, but not really so good at it. Have worked on several with a friend, and those turn out well, but my own, not so much!! :)

  25. I am not really a quilter–I want to be though! All of your patterns are beautiful! I think I would chose the stash builder. Then I wouldn’t have to feel the guilt of spending money on something that is not “needed!”
    …Oh, and Happy Anniversary!!

  26. Congratulations! One year and many to go. I am in total awe with you and your accomplishments. You are amazing. Wishing the best to you and an exciting new year to come!

  27. Congratulations! That is an exciting milestone. The giveaways are all amazing, but I have to say th Stash Builder is making me drool the most. :)

  29. I am new to your blog (found it through the UberQuiltFest). I am very new to quilting so I would have to choose the starter pack as my first preference but I love fabric so I would not be sad to get any one of the others.
Congratulations on the anniversary. I look forward to following you over your 2nd year.

  30. Happy Anniversary! Your patterns make me smile, and help me find new ways to dream in fabric. Thank you! I would love the stash builder since I am building up right now.

  31. Congrats! I just found your blog via Blue Nickel Studios and excited to follow along with your adventures. BTW, if you moved to that pumpkin patch home, I’d totally visit. There is something awe-inspiring about that sort of, well, isolation for lack of better word.

I love the Moda pack, of course. :)

  32. I would love number three! They would be great colors for the quilt I am supposed to make, that you gave me the pattern for.
But they are all great prizes!

  33. Beginner Basics for me. Congratulations on your first anniversary! I’m still getting up the nerve to write my first post.

  34. It’s so hard to choose!!! What great give-aways :D I can’t get past the yummy fabrics in #3, though, so that will have to be my pick. Congratulations on your anniversary!

  35. All 3 are winners-But love Darlene’s fabrics, charms, and my choice is
    Stash builders!
Thanks for all your great ideas-looking for the magazine with your
    pattern!

  36. I’m so glad I came across your blog! Congrats on this anniversary!! I love the Quilting Queen, although you can never have to much of a Stash Builder. Thanks!

  37. I almost missed your anniversay! Congratulations & hope you have many, many more! I already have several mats & cutters so fabric would be my choice – awesome fabric – thanks for the chance to win some.

  38. Congratulations on your one-year anniversary and here’s wishes for sew many more! Love your prize packages but I’d have to go with #3 because Ruby is so beautiful. thanks for the opportunity.

  39. Happy Anniversary. In coming to your blog from Quilt UberFest I saw your giveaway for your 1st anniversary so I thought I would see if I’m lucky today. I LOVE the block you created for the UberFest too by the way. I love Chevrons.

If I am lucky enough to have my number picked, I would want the Stash Builder. Those are great fabrics. I do really love Ruby but think I’d rather have those in the stash builder prize because the variety would help me more.

Thank you for a great group of prizes and chance to win.

  40. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway. Happy Anniversary. I found your blog because came to get the UberFest block.
Number 3 Queen of Quilting Ruby (my grandmother’s name was Rubye).

  41. I liked you on FB as Marcia and Margaret alternate email mlwright29(at)hotmail(dot)com
Besides Ruby, the Stash Builder is a wonderful prize that I like too!

  42. Congratulations! I am a new follower. I would love to win any of the bundles, but Stash Builder would be my pick. Thanks for the giveaways.

  43. congrats! i found you from uber-fest…
i do quilt a bit and would like to label myself a quilting queen, but i love the beginner pack- i need some new tools, mine are in terrible shape, and i don’t even own a mat or ruler!

  44. I found you through , love your chevron block. Happy anniversary, glad I found you. It will be fun following you to your 2nd anniversary.
I’d love to win your stash builder, gorgeous fabrics, what a thrill to be able to sew with it. Thanks for sharing.

  45. I’m new to your blog, but I like what I see! Congrats on your new quilt in a magazine! What a thrill that must have been.
I’d love to win any of the prizes, but my favorite would be the Quilting Queen. I’ve been in love with the Ruby line ever since I saw sneek peaks of it months ago.
    Thanks!
